Cultural Content in Moroccan EFL Textbooks and Cultural Intelligence (CQ) Development

<p><em>This study aims at investigating the intercultural adequacy of cultural content a Moroccan EFL textbook in developing students’ Cultural Intelligence (CQ). The activities were analyzed using model (CQ) to identify helping students develop their CQ, detect, assimilate, reason, and act on cues appropriately situations characterized by diversity. scale same model, CQ scale, was used elicit perspectives 112 high school teachers regarding compare results two instruments. analysis textbook’s revealed that Cognitive is most present factor activities, but are not sufficient students' nor other three factors as illustrated model. elicited support findings suggestions for improvement enlisted.</em></p>
